Localizing NEC is one of NEC Corporation’s strategies to reach out to the world. Thus, on 11 January 1996, NEC Philippines (NECPH) was incorporated as one of the subsidiaries of NEC Corporation. While its local operations officially started in April 1996, NEC has been present in the Philippines through its Manila Representative Office since the 1960’s.
NECPH is an Information Technology (IT), sales, marketing and services company that infuses NEC Japan expertise with the IT requirements of the Philippine business industry. Its core products, which include telecommunication platforms such as the Private Automatic Branch Exchange (PABX) and Key Telephone System (KTS), secured NECPH its place in the Hospitality and Real Estate industries. Since then, NECPH enhanced its coverage by providing Internet Protocol (IP) and Data Networks, and Information and Communication Technology (ICT) Integration, IT Solutions and Services that serves cross-industry and industry-specific needs for government, retail, banking & finance, and contact centers.
