Localizing NEC is one of NEC Corporation’s strategies to reach out to the world. Thus, on 11 January 1996, NEC Philippines (NECPH) was incorporated as one of the subsidiaries of NEC Corporation. While its local operations officially started in April 1996, NEC has been present in the Philippines through its Manila Representative Office since the 1960’s.

NECPH is primarily an Information Technology (IT), sales, marketing and services company that infuses NEC Japan expertise with the IT requirements of the Philippine business industry. NECPH is engaged in the supply of telecommunications equipment, computer systems, network, IP and Data Networks, ICT Integration, IT solutions and services, that serve cross-industry and industry-specific needs for government, retail, banking and finance, and contact centers.
